Flasks have been around for ages. In the 18th century, the gentry began to carry a hip flask similar to what you can find today — typically contoured to more naturally fit in the pocket against the hip or thigh. They found their peak of popularity in the Victorian era.
Hip flasks such as ours continue to be a really popular and traditional gift today — contoured, or kidney-shaped, and made of stainless steel. Ours has a captive cap — connected to the flask so it cannot be lost when you open it — and is decorated with a pewter trout badge affixed to the side.
This item is a great gift option, especially for birthdays, graduations and weddings.
